About Us

All year around, for lunch, dinner, a snack or drinks, you can sit outside with a crisp white tablecloth, or just inside the front door in the portico, where you can still see the ebb and flow of people and traffic on Ponsonby Road.

In Summer there are long, languid evenings on the pavement and in winter the glow of candles, and the warmth of the fireplace.

You may likely see someone you know wandering past and invite them to join for a glass.

It is a place for everyone, and all are welcome.

All our ingredients are carefully selected and sourced from local and organic growers where possible and prepared by our chefs with loving care in Verona’s kitchen.

Falafel Roll – $12

fried falafel, mint yogurt, herbed slaw and house made chutney

Banh Mi – $16

four hour braised pork shoulder, jus, pickled carrots & black pepper pate
